"Behold, he who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep" (Psalms 121:3)
We all see each day in the news the self-sacrifice which the dear and
beloved soldiers of Israel make for the sake of Israel. The soldiers of Israel,
protect the Land of Israel body and soul, and thank to them, the people of
Israel can sleep in peace.
In the Israel Armed Forces can be found hundreds of lone soldiers, who
immigrated to Israel to help protect the State and build their new lives and
future in Israel, These soldiers are "lonely" soldiers. They have no family.
They need a warm and loving embrace and emotional and spiritual support in order
to gain the strength necessary to continue their blessed work.
Our Foundation, these last few years, has been very active in the service of
these lone soldiers.
Thanks to our donors, we have been
able to give these soldiers gifts and monetary vouchers that they might treat
themselves and be happy for a while.
These soldiers are dear to us and beloved. We must take care of them and protect
their spirit in this harsh task they must bear daily.
Our soldiers face grave problems. They must prevent terrorist attacks while, at
the same time, protecting the honor and the good name of Israel; and this is
extremely hard and delicate work which wears them down.
We must continue to help these
soldiers. We want to be the protecting wall which supports them; we want you
with us; we need you to protect these soldiers!
